Are you fully visible on LinkedIn™? Check your LinkedIn™ photo settings

Continuing my series on “Where the heck is that on LinkedIn™” because sometimes it’s just not obvious where things are on LinkedIn! And because LinkedIn likes to hide stuff . . . And it also likes to move things without telling you!

For example, some people don’t realise that there are visibility settings for their LinkedIn Profile photo.

So I will say to someone . . . “oh you haven’t got a profile photo.” To which they respond . . . “yes I have!”

Then it turns out the visibility settings for the profile photo are set to ‘Your Connections’ so as a second degree connection I can’t see it.

If you want to use LinkedIn for business, then you want to be fully visible to everyone!

So, if you’re not sure what your profile photo setting is, why not check it out and make sure it’s set to ‘Public’ so all your lovely potential clients can see you!

If you’re not sure how to do that, check out my “How To Make Your LinkedIn Profile Photo Visible” video below.

Of course, you will want a LinkedIn Profile photo to be proud of.

On a recent LinkedIn LoveIn webinar with Perrin Read from Roth Read Photography, Perrin shared her top tips on how to get the best from your photography so it presents you in the best possible way.

She also shared with us how valuable LinkedIn was as a platform for keeping her business not only visible during lock down but fully book and fighting fit post lockdown in May.

The recording is available to watch in the Linked:In LoveIn Group.

The Linked:In LoveIn group supports the LinkedIn LoveIn webinars. As well as sharing the recordings in the group, there are LinkedIn tips and tricks, what’s working/not working, what’s new on LinkedIn and more. So do check out the Linked:In LoveIn group here.
